Our Agriculture and Catholic Environmental Stewardship minor will generate among students the renewal of a way of life that wholeheartedly integrates Catholic teaching on the person, family, ecology, and economy. Our Agriculture and Catholic Environmental Stewardship minor will generate among students the renewal of a way of life that wholeheartedly integrates Catholic teaching on the person, family, ecology, and economy. This integrated approach will help prepare you to become a future environmental leader and a transformative Catholic presence in local society and in broader public conversation.
Interdisciplinary formation. Classes in ecology, theology, and business, offer a solid and integrated base for learning about sustainability and stewardship from an authentically Catholic perspective.
Scientific knowledge. By the time you graduate, you will have a working understanding of the science behind agricultural and environmental stewardship.
Practical outdoor skills. Whether you are planning a career in science , theology, or another field, the course will provide hands-on experience on the AMU farm.
